A.R.T is an experimental decentralized Artificial Robot Tapestry factory built on Solana. This retro game-themed interactive NFT project brings us back to the good old days, giving artists and art enthusiasts like you a platform to share your appreciation for art, creativity, and a jolting good time with a like-minded community.

### What are A.R.Ts?&#x20;

A.R.Ts are the main characters of the A.R.T ecosystem. Each A.R.T is an NFT that take the form of personalized digital art galleries to showcase art created by our community! Our A.R.Ts are not just adorable; they are also really useful drivers of the A.R.T Factory.&#x20;

Not only can you mint your very own art into 1/1 NFTs to be displayed on your A.R.T, each A.R.T is also armed with the ability to produce [V.O.L.T.S](https://a-r-t.gitbook.io/artbots/broken-reference), a token that powers the Factory. Each A.R.T comes with a V.O.L.T.S multiplier (this is a trait, so it varies between A.R.Ts) which supercharges your V.O.L.T.S production DAILY.&#x20;

### How many A.R.Ts will there be?&#x20;

The A.R.T Factory will be assembling a total of 10,000 A.R.Ts over the course of the year. 2,000 will be minted initially. This includes the initial airdrop for early community members and A.R.Ts reserved for marketing collaborations as well as the team allocation.

The remaining 8,000 A.R.Ts will be released throughout the year via an ongoing auction according to the [Variable Rate Gradual Dutch Auction (VRGDA)](https://www.paradigm.xyz/2022/08/vrgda) mechanism. For these auctioned mints, every 10th A.R.T minted will go to the team at the Factory.&#x20;

### How to get A.R.Ts?&#x20;

The initial 2,000 consists of airdrop allocations to select wallets such as early community Artbots and lucky participants of The Z.A.P. Subsequently, you will need V.O.L.T.S to participate in the auctioned mint.&#x20;
