Guide to A.R.T Draw Tool

New to the A.R.T Draw Tool? Here's an instruction manual topped with a tutorial video!

A.R.T Draw Tool Step-by-Step Guide

Before you begin, remember to Connect Your Wallet so you won't lose your draft even if you're not done!

1. Name Your Drawing

• Name your drawing by typing in the white box at the top of the page

2. Paint Bucket

• Select the Paint Bucket Tool on the top left corner

• Choose the background fill color of your art piece by using the Paint Bucket Properties widget on the right-hand side

• Simply drag your mouse in the color selection box for your favorite colors, or be specific and enter the hex code directly

3. Layers

• Use the Layers panel on the left-hand side to create a new layer(s)

• This ensures that your background and drawing will be on separate layers

• You can change the order of the layers by shifting them around

• You can also hide the layers

4. Brush

• Select the Brush Tool in the top left corner

• In a similar fashion, choose your preferred brush color using the Brush Properties widget on the right-hand side with your mouse or by inputting a custom hex code

• After choosing your color, you can also toggle the brush size and opacity using the sliders in the widget

5. Undo and Redo​​

• Made a mistake? Don't worry! The Draw Tool has an undo and redo function

• You can access them by clicking the icons on the top left corner of the page

6. Eraser​

• If that's not enough, you can use our Eraser tool too! Click the Eraser icon on the top left corner of the page

• The Brush Properties widget on the right-hand side will allow you to choose the size and opacity of your Eraser

7. Grab​

• Select the Grab tool on the top left corner of the page

• You can move your drawing by the layers using the Grab tool

8. Download, Preview and Share​

• After you are done, you can download your drawing by clicking the Download icon

• Otherwise, you can preview and share by clicking the button on the top right of the page

• A "Share Your Drawing" pop-up will appear where you can obtain a share link or share your drawing directly on Twitter/X
