Legendary A.R.Ts are 20 unique and rare A.R.Ts meticulously and painstakingly hand-assembled and crafted, out of a collection of 10,000 A.R.Ts. What sets them apart from your regular A.R.Ts goes beyond their outstanding visuals, but also in their unrivaled abilities to supercharge your batteries. Getting a hold of a Legendary A.R.T will automatically distinguish you from other Artbots—a collectible like none other.
The first Legendary debuts when the lightning and clouds align with the LunA.R.T Calendar, once the first 10% of the remaining (non-airdropped) 8,000 A.R.Ts have been minted (that's 800).
The other 19 Legendary A.R.Ts will drop gradually throughout the 1-year Factory experiment period according to the Legendaries Schedule. As the Legendary A.R.Ts enter the world, each will reveal a unique story, unraveling the captivating narrative that brings our A.R.T universe into existence, piece by piece.
Unlike regular A.R.Ts, Legendaries are minted using A.R.Ts that you have previously minted, rather than V.O.L.T.S. Once your Legendary has been minted, the A.R.Ts used in the creation process vanish in a snap and will be removed from the total supply, only existing as a collective of souls illuminating the path of the Legendary.
Each Legendary A.R.T mint follows the process of a dutch auction. This means that the bid will trend downwards from the initial bid until one or more bidders decide that's the right price for them. The rate at which the bid decreases will be dependent on how many A.R.Ts are being minted. If more A.R.Ts are being minted quickly, then the rate of decrease in Legendary A.R.T bid price will decrease.
The initial bid of the first Legendary A.R.T begins at 69 A.R.Ts. In order to win the bid, you will need to place the highest bid of A.R.Ts and/or be the fastest bidder.
Let's say Bonky and Doge are 2 bidders among many bidders during the auction for the first Legendary A.R.T mint.
The bidding commences at the price of 69 A.R.T
Both Bonky and Doge think that the Legendary is worth 20 A.R.Ts
The bid drops from 69 A.R.T...to 68...to 67...to 66...
Finally, the bid drops to 20 A.R.Ts - that's the price that both Bonky and Doge want to bid for!
With quicker movements, Bonky reacts immediately and places his bid for 20 A.R.Ts before Doge can place his bid
As such, Bonky wins the bid of 20 A.R.Ts because (i) he has the highest bid out of all the bidders and (ii) he was the fastest bidder among those bidding for the same price
Unfortunately, Doge and other bidders lose out on the bid for Legendary A.R.T 1 and they have to wait for the next Legendary to emerge...
After the first Legendary A.R.T, each subsequent Legendary will strut out with a price tag that's double the amount of the previous Legendary.
Assuming that the first Legendary A.R.T is eventually sold for 20 A.R.Ts, here's a table to illustrate how the pricing for the subsequent Legendaries works:

Legendary A.R.Ts generate V.O.L.T.S at DOUBLE the rate of the A.R.Ts used to create them. For instance, if a Legendary A.R.T was minted with 20 A.R.Ts, and the sum of multipliers of the 20 A.R.Ts is 150x, then that Legendary A.R.T will have a multiplier of 300x! ⚡️
Legendary A.R.Ts are SUPER RARE and only make up 0.2% of the entire collection (20 out of 10,000)
